PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper conveying switching guide, a paper conveying switching device provided with this and an image forming device capable of largely opening a paper conveying passage and easily removing the paper jammed in the paper conveying passage. SOLUTION: The paper conveying switching device is provided with a paper conveying switching guide 1; a switch lever; a switch lever return spring; and a solenoid. The paper conveying switching guide 1 is provided with a guide body 11 connected to the switch lever; and an auxiliary guide member 15 pivotally supported on the guide body 11 by a pivot support part 16 so as to be further upwardly pivoted more than a pivotable position of the guide body. When paper jam is generated, a lower stage side paper conveying passage can be largely opened by gripping a gripping part 19 of the auxiliary guide member 15 and upwardly turning only the auxiliary guide member 15 without requiring complicated operation such that the solenoid is operated and the whole of the paper conveying switching guide 1 is operated.
