PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of automatically cleaning rollers unless a user performs a special operation. SOLUTION: Sheet materials of a predetermined quantity are normally printed according to the information on the sheets from a host. After the printing is completed, if the sheet material is determined to be a medium from which paper powder tends to be produced, a control means is installed to provide an idling operation to the rollers.
