<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home power saving system which can save energy through an inexpensive arrangement. <P>SOLUTION: The home power saving system comprises an absence sensor terminal 201 for detecting presence and absence of a person, a power supply on/off apparatus adapter 202 having a means 206 for controlling power on/off of a connected electric apparatus 203, a first wireless transmitting/receiving means 204 incorporated in the absence sensor terminal 201 and performing wireless communication with the power supply on/off apparatus adapter 202, and a second wireless transmitting/receiving means 205 incorporated in the power supply on/off apparatus adapter 202 and performing wireless communication with the absence sensor terminal 201. When the absence sensor terminal 201 detects absence of a person, the first wireless transmitting/receiving means 204 transmits a signal to the power supply on/off apparatus adapter 202 and it is received by the second wireless transmitting/receiving means 205 and then a control means 206 turns off power of the electric apparatus 203. Power of the electric apparatus 203 can be turned off when a person is absent not through an expensive communication apparatus originating centrally managed information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
