TRANSACTION SETTLEMENT DEVICE AND TRANSACTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transaction settlement device capable of calculating a point without receiving influence of failure as thoroughly as possible even if the failure occurs between the transaction settlement device and a transaction history management device.

SOLUTION: This transaction settlement device 20 is a device reading a transaction history from an electronic money recording medium and performing settlement of a transaction. The device has: a reading processing part 21 reading a card transaction consecutive number counted up in each the transaction in each the electronic money recording medium, transaction history information including a payment amount accompanying the transaction, identification information for identifying the electronic money recording medium, and a latest value of an electronic money value balance of the electronic money recording medium from the electronic money recording medium; a transaction history information generation part 22 generating the transaction history information including information about the present transaction in consideration of the read information; and a transaction history transmission part 24 transmitting the transaction history information including the generated present transaction information to a management device for a database storing the transaction histories of the plurality of electronic money recording media.
