<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device preventing breakage of connecting pieces caused by stress concentration thereon to improve durability and reliability of a rotary transmission member. <P>SOLUTION: The rotary transmission member 21 of the power transmission device is constituted of metal plates so that the whole rotary transmission member is formed in an approximately disc shape. The rotary transmission member 21 is provided with slits 30 for forming three connecting pieces, and is constituted of an annular main body 21A and the three connecting pieces 21B which surround an outer periphery of the main body 21A at equal intervals in a circumferential direction and are elastically deformable in an axial direction. A base end part of the connecting piece 21B forms a fixed part 21C fixed to a driving-side rotary member, and its tip part forms a connecting part 21D detachably connected with a driven-side rotary member. The slits 30 for forming the connecting pieces are cut in to be deeper than a base end 31a of the connecting piece 21B as a portion A on which stress is concentrated, so that a closed end 30a is positioned near the inside of a center part of the fixed part 21C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
