<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a game from being complex in a pinball game machine in which a plurality of prize winning holes which become triggers of pattern fluctuation are arranged. <P>SOLUTION: A lottery value obtaining means obtains randomized values when game balls enter a first start opening. The lottery value obtaining means temporarily holds the obtained lottery value by predetermined number as an upper limit. A special pattern lottery means executes a special pattern lottery for determining whether or not the transition is possible to the special game in which the player is in the more advantageous condition than ordinary games by determining winning or losing by reading out the lottery value from the lottery value holding means. The special pattern display control means causes fluctuating displays of the special pattern showing the result of the special pattern lottery. A second start opening is an openable and closable ball entering opening arranged in a predetermined position of a game area is in a closed condition under normal conditions.
