PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable to shorten a distance between mounting terminal electrodes, thereby enabling entire miniaturization of a choke coil. SOLUTION: The choke coil comprises a wound coil 1 having an air core and provided with leading-out portions 2 on both ends, a first magnetic body 5 made of a metallic magnetic powder and a binder and sealing the wound coil 1 by pressure molding, and two mounting terminal electrodes 7 for connecting the leading-out portions 2 to a circuit board. In the choke coil, a second magnetic body 6 made of a metallic magnetic powder and a binder and having a permeability higher than that of the first magnetic body 5 is pressurized and molded to form a tablet 14 with a projection 13 on a seat plate 12, a copper wire is wound around the projection 13 of the tablet 14 with a seat plate to form the wound coil 1 provided with the leading-out portion 2, the seat plate 12 is arranged on a side opposite to the circuit board, and the tablet 14 with a seat plate and the wound coil 1 are sealed with the first magnetic body, thereby forming the pressurized and molded choke coil.
