PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a state of one side contact of a blade receiving spring with a flat plug blade and suppress abnormal rise of temperature. SOLUTION: The blade receiving spring 3 housed in a case body of a receptacle 1 is provide with a pair of springs 30, 31 mutually opposed to each other, a connecting piece 33 to connect the front end part of the pair of springs 30, 31 continuously in one body, an extension piece 34 which extends toward the spring 31 from the rear end part of the spring 30, an auxiliary spring 35 which extends so as to be opposed to the spring 30 toward the insertion and extraction direction of the flat plug blade 51 of the plug 5 from the tip part of the extension piece 34. When each flat plug blade 51 is inserted inside the case body 2 passing through an insertion port 211, each flat plug blade 51 does not contact the front end part of corresponding pair of springs 30, 31, but contacts the both springs 30, 31 and the auxiliary spring 35 at near the boundary of middle part and rear end part of both springs 30, 31. Then, in the state when the flat plug blade 51 is insertion completed by a prescribed amount, the tip part of the flat plug blade 51 is clipped between the rear end parts of the pair of springs 30, 31.
