PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive capable of securing sufficient head position detection accuracy even when the reproducing head width of a read head is almost equal to a data track pitch regarding a disk drive using a disk medium having servo information buried and recorded therein by a DTR method. SOLUTION: In a phase difference servo burst pattern contained in servo information buried and recorded in the servo area of a disk medium by a DTR method, the tilting state of the burst pattern is set in the same direction as that of the in-line angle of a head in a single tilting direction.
