PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in a liquid crystal display drive circuit. SOLUTION: When making time-sharing output of gradation voltages for each unit pixel consisting of three pixels of red (R), green (G), and blue (B) from the amplifier sequentially constituting the output circuits in the order of R, G, and B, it compares the gradation data of the R, G, B dot pixels for each unit pixel by using the data coincidence detector 530. When the gradation data are equal over the whole pixels in each scanning line, it controls the drive time of the amplifier to make the G output and B output shorter than the top R output, by using the output control signal AS from the control signal generator circuit 520.
