PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting displacement amount for detecting the relative displacement amount from the reference position of a second member with respect to a first member, using a viscoelastic member. SOLUTION: A first conductive viscoelastic member 31 and a second conductive viscoelastic member 32 are arranged between the first member 10 and the second member 20. The first conductive viscoelastic member 31 and the second conductive viscoelastic member 32 are arranged so as to perform mutually reverse symmetrical compression and tension deformation, when the second member 20 is relatively displaced for the first member 10. For instance, the first conductive viscoelastic member 31 and the second conductive viscoelastic member 32 are arranged facing in a prescribed axis direction so as to sandwich the second member 20 by them. Furthermore, a Wheatstone bridge circuit 41 is formed by impedances of the first conductive viscoelastic member 31 and the second conductive viscoelastic member 32.
