PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection pump capable of varying a flow rate of fuel in accordance with a crank angle while restraining manufacturing cost and an occupying space of the fuel injection pump. SOLUTION: In the fuel injection pump, a spill hole 25b is provided on a plunger barrel 25, a cross sectional area of plunger ends 20a, 21a and 22a is smaller than a cross sectional area of a middle lower part of plungers 20, 21 and 22, and the spill hole 25b is provided on a side of a position where the plunger ends 20a, 21a and 22a pass.
