PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable sliding member of a compressor, the highly reliable and highly efficient compressor and a refrigerating cycle device for enhancing adhesion of molybdenum disulfide to a base material of a sliding part. SOLUTION: An oxygen-rich compound layer 152 can be formed by colliding a grain of the molybdenum disulfide with a sliding surface of the sliding part composed of a metallic material together with gas having the oxygen concentration of 25 vol% or more. This layer can play a role of a binder for enhancing adhesive strength of the base material and a mixing layer 150 of solidly solving the molybdenum disulfide, and improves abrasion resistance by preventing separation from the base material of the sliding part.
