PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic atomizing device enabling an efficient discharge of mist generated in an atomization space to the outside. SOLUTION: The electrostatic atomizing device is provided with a discharge electrode 1, a counter electrode 2, a water supply means 3 supplying water to the discharge electrode 1, an atomizing portion casing 50 holding the discharge electrode 1 in the atomization space S1 inside, and a high voltage impressing portion 30 applying a high voltage between the discharge electrode 1 and the counter electrode 2. In the device, the application of the high voltage by the high voltage impressing portion 30 atomizes the water W supplied to the discharge electrode 1 to produce the mist M. A mist discharge port 23 discharging the mist M from the atomizing space S1 is formed on a side wall 51 of the atomizing portion casing 50, at the same time, an air inlet port 52 is formed substantially symmetrically centering around the mist discharge port 23 on a side wall 51b of the periphery centering around a portion forming the mist discharge port 23 of the atomizing portion casing 50, and a substantially sealed pressing chamber 61 is formed around the side wall 51 forming the air inlet port 52 to provide a pressing means 62.
