<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium transition metal complex oxide with a large discharge volume and excellent rate characteristics, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The lithium transition metal complex oxide that is a layer silicate type lithium transition metal complex oxide expressed in Li<SB>1+x</SB>M<SB>1-x</SB>O<SB>2</SB>(where, M is a kind of transition metal selected from manganese, cobalt, iron, copper, zinc, chromium, titanium, and zirconium, and 0≤x≤0.15), with a content of an acidic group of 1,500 ppm at most in total, a content of alkali metal of 2,000 ppm at most in total, and a peak intensity ratio (I<SB>(003)</SB>/I<SB>(104)</SB>) of (003) and (104) of X-ray diffraction attributed to a hexagonal system of 1.4 at least. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
