<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup mounting a wave front aberration correcting element which can correct coma aberration and astigmatism, and an optical disk apparatus using the optical pickup. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup is provided with a laser light source irradiating an optical disk with a light beam, an objective lens converging the light beam emitted from the laser light source to the optical disk, a first lens correcting astigmatism being wave front aberration of the light beam, a second lens correcting coma aberration being wave front aberration of the light beam, and a photodetector receiving the light beam reflected from the optical disk.
