<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a thermal recording medium having curl prevention capability and formed using the water dispersion thermal coloring ink. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal recording medium 1 consists of: a base material 2; an ink acceptance layer 3 laid on the base material, where the said ink acceptance layer 3 is able to impregnate a water dispersion ink, i.e. coloring ingredients containing at least electron-donating compound dispersed in the water; a heat-sensitive color-developing layer 4 integrally formed with the ink acceptance layer 3 by impregnating the water dispersion ink into the ink acceptance layer 3 with the printing method using the printing plate; and a backing layer 6 containing at least resin ingredient on the rear surface of the base material 2, and this backing layer is formed by the same printing method as the printing method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
