<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet recording medium having a high gloss and sufficient ink absorbency even with a small amount of coating. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording medium is manufactured by a method wherein a lower layer consisting of a water-absorbing inorganic pigment, a latex and a boric acid or a borate and an upper layer consisting of a submicron pigment and polyvinyl alcohol are provided by coating on a substrate containing a cationic resin and are subjected to casting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
