ROTATING BODY DRIVING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotating body driving device capable of shortening the time for aligning position of a rotating body driving gear when the rotating body driving gear is engaged so that a rotating phase of the rotating body to which drive is transmitted from a driving source is matched and to provide an image forming apparatus provided with it.

SOLUTION: The rotating body driving device is provided with: a bearing mark 7P which can be viewed from a surface side opposite to a photoreceptor driving gear 1 as a rotating body driving gear in a driving device rear side plate 302 as a rotating body driving shaft supporting plate and installed in a specified position of a bearing 7 which is a member fixed to the driving device rear side plate 302; and a shaft mark 6P installed at a prescribed position on a leading tip surface of the driving gear rotating shaft 6 of a photoreceptor driving gear 1 which can be viewed from a surface side opposite to the photoreceptor driving gear 1 of the driving device rear side plate 302.
