<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing occurrence of image defects such as rubbing in a conveying section just after fixation and simultaneously satisfying cooling of a paper, measures against temperature rising of a main body, reduction in curling and prevention of sticking of a discharged paper at a high level. <P>SOLUTION: The speed of an attracting and conveying section 9 is set slower than that of a fixing device 8, so as not to pull a transfer paper between the fixing device 8 and the attracting and conveying section 9. Thus, a loop is formed between the fixing device 8 and the attracting and conveying section, but the loop is absorbed by a lower projecting guide 88. When the excessive size of the loop is detected by a transfer paper detecting means 89, the speed of the attracting and conveying section 9 is made fast by a control means, to perform correction so as to obtain a suitable loop. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
