<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion exchanger facilitating resin body exchange work and having structure capable of surely passing cooling liquid through resin body. <P>SOLUTION: The ion exchanger 10 has a contracting means (a tension generating member 48) contracting a pack 14 along the cooling liquid flow direction so that the pack 14 in which ion exchange resin 12 (the resin body) is sealed adheres closely to an inner wall 56 over the whole periphery. When the volume of the whole of the resin body 12 in the pack 14 is decreased, the contracting means 48 contracts the pack in the cooling liquid flow direction. Since the pack does not contract in the vertical direction to the cooling liquid flow direction, close adhesion is continued over the hole periphery of the inner wall 56. Generation of a gap between the pack 14 and the inner wall 56 of a housing part 44 is suppressed, and the cooling liquid is surely passed through the resin body 12 in the pack 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
