<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten settlement time without attaching a radio tag to each of commodities. <P>SOLUTION: When each information terminal 14 acquires an ID code from a user extending his/her hand to a corresponding commodity in a non-contact manner, the information terminal 14 accepts a registration input of the corresponding commodity. When the information terminal 14 accepts the registration input of the corresponding commodity, the information terminal 14 transmits to a server device 11 registered commodity information including acquired user identification information and commodity identification information that identifies the commodity corresponding to the information terminal. The server device 11 stores and manages commodity sales information by ID codes from the registered commodity information received from each of the information terminals 14. When a settlement device 15 inputs an ID code, the commodity sales information corresponding to the ID code is transmitted to the settlement device 15.
