<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for inexpensive highly accurate proofing. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus that is capable of communicating with a server and an image forming apparatus includes: a storage means for storing data to be printed and device information showing the characteristics of the image forming apparatus; an instruction input means for inputting instructions including printing conditions; a generating means for generating image forming condition information showing the conditions for the image forming apparatus to form images, the conditions being determined based on the printing conditions and the device information; a control means for creating print data based on the data to be printed and the conditions related to image formation, sending the print data to the image forming apparatus, and causing the image forming apparatus to perform printing; and a sending means for sending the data to be printed, the print condition information showing the printing conditions, and the image forming condition information to the server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
