<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent quality reduction in an image by avoiding generation of moire and light leakage in a liquid crystal panel and to make it possible to perform secondary utilization of an optical sheets. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel 1 wherein polarizing plates 13 and 14 are disposed in an overlapped shape on both front and rear surfaces of a liquid crystal cell 12, the optical sheets 3 disposed on the rear side of the liquid crystal panel 1 and a backlight means 5 disposed on the opposite side of the liquid crystal panel 1 sandwiching the optical sheets 3 are housed in an enclosure body 9. Spacers 21 and 22 are interposed between the liquid crystal cell 12 and the optical sheets 3 to form a gap space S between the liquid crystal panel 1 and the optical sheets 3. A function for shielding light leakage is imparted to the spacers. Single-sided adhesive tapes are used for the spacers 21 and 22 and adhesive surfaces of the single-sided adhesive tapes are stuck to the liquid crystal cell 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
