<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the sleeve for a blanket cylinder, in which blowing-out holes for installing a blanket are formed. <P>SOLUTION: While the endless cylindrical blanket 28 is installed on the outer periphery of the sleeve 26, the endless cylindrical sleeve 26 of the blanket cylinder to be installed on the outer periphery of a basic shaft roller 24 provided on the main body side of a printing machine is equipped with: a resin layer 32 locating on the inner periphery side of the sleeve; and a metallic or aluminum alloy layer 34 locating on the outermost periphery side and having removable end parts 34b. In the end parts 34b, a feeding passage 35, through which gas is fed for diametrally expanding the blanket 28 at the installation of the blanket 28, and blowing-out holes 36, which is connected with the feeding passage 35 and through which the gas is blown nearly radially to outside, are provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
