<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing chromium-containing molten steel containing Ti, which can stably keep a ratio of an equiaxial crystal at a high level with a simple technique and improve, for instance, the workability and surface quality of a plate product. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the molten steel containing chromium comprises; the primary refining step of smelting molten crude steel by adding a chromium source to a preliminarily treated molten pig iron and by blowing oxygen into it; and the secondary refining step of producing the molten steel by adjusting components contained in the molten crude steel. In the above secondary refining step, the method includes controlling slag that covers the molten steel which has been finish-decarbonized into the composition comprising CaO/SiO<SB>2</SB>of 2.2 to 3.2, 20 to 30 mass% Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 12 to 22 mass% MgO and 1.0 mass% or less Cr<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>respectively, and then adding the Ti source to the molten steel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
