<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a four-valve diaphragm pump securing liquid-tightness with high reliability and durability of a connection part of a flow passage formed straddling an upper housing and a lower housing and a suction flow passage and a discharge flow passage. <P>SOLUTION: The diaphragm pump is equipped with recessed parts that define an upper pump chamber and a lower pump chamber above and below the diaphragm, a suction port and a discharge port to communicate with the lower pump chamber, branch channels for communicating the suction port and the discharge port with the upper pump chamber, suction-side check valves respectively provided between the suction port and the upper pump chamber and between the suction port and the lower pump chamber, and discharge-side check valves provided between the discharge port and the upper pump chamber and between the discharge port and the lower pump chamber. The branch channel 41 includes a hole part formed in either one of the upper housing and the lower housing, a protruded cylindrical part fitted in the hole part, and seal rings 41b, 42b interposed between annular gaps formed between the hole part and the protruded cylindrical part so that compression force is generated in the axial direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
