PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to recognize a category in which images classified thereto is important, with respect to the images hierarchized and classified into a plurality of categories, without imposing a burden on the user. SOLUTION: An importance setting section 32, for each category acquired by classifying the plurality of images into the plurality of categories, groups similar images to generate similar image groups.
