A power autonomous tool set, for example, pruning scissors, a saw, a fruit picking tool, lawnmower, bush cutter, hedge cutter, impact spanner, pneumatic hammer, comprising at least three distinct functional sub-units, i.e. a first sub-unit handling mechanical operation of the tool by means of an electric actuator; a second sub-set making up the energy source for the set and essentially comprising a rechargeable electrochemical battery; a third charger sub-set which can carry out electrical recharging of the electrochemical battery of the second sub-unit. The invention is characterized in that the first sub-unit ( 2 ) is connected, at least during the use of said tool, to the second sub-unit ( 3 ) by a flexible electric cord ( 6 ) and in that the electric supply of the actuator which constitutes it can be automatically disconnected and/or at will by the operator; the second sub-unit ( 3 ) is portable, is provided with a lithium-ion or lithium polymer battery formed by association of a series of cells, each cell comprising one element or several associated parallel elements and one or several electric or electronic control modules or management modules for said battery, whereby said modules are located close to the battery; the third charger sub-unit ( 4 ) consists of at least one electric supply source whose voltage and current are adapted to recharging the lithium-ion or lithium polymer ( 5 ) battery, said third sub-unit being electrically linked to the second sub-unit by means of a disconnectable flexible cord.
