METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR WELDING RESIN BODIES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for welding resin bodies which provides a welded part of the resin bodies each other having an enough strength when welding the resin bodies each other by laser beam irradiation.

SOLUTION: The method of welding resin bodies comprising welding a first resin body and a second resin body having laser beam permeability through a laser beam absorbing part having laser beam absorbability includes: a laser beam irradiating process of irradiating the laser beam absorbing part with a laser beam from the first resin body side to form a welded part at the laser beam absorbing part while at least one of the first resin body 51 and the second resin body 52 overlayed together through the laser beam absorbing part is pressed by a predetermined pressure; a first evaluating process of evaluating an energy quantity of the laser beam; a second evaluating process of evaluating a form of the welded part; and a third evaluating process of evaluating a pressure, wherein a welded state of the welded part is determined as to whether good or bad based on the result of the evaluations in the first to third process.
