<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proton conductive membrane wherein methanol cross-over is reduced while maintaining practically sufficient proton conductivity, a manufacturing method thereof, and fuel cell electrolyte membrane comprising this proton conductive membrane. <P>SOLUTION: This proton conductive membrane is obtained by introducing proton conductive groups into a graft film in which graft chains formed by graft-polymerization of a vinyl-based monomer applied as far as the inside of the base material of fluorine-based polymer exist. In regard to the distribution of the proton conductive groups in the cross section of the membrane, the proton conductive membrane has the maximum value of introduction density of the proton conductive group near the membrane surface, and has the introduction density having 35 - 60% of its maximum value at the center of the membrane cross section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
