APPARATUS AND METHOD OF DETERMINING UPLINK PRIORITY IN WIRELESS MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for determining a priority for uplink scheduling of a mobile station by a BTS in a wireless mobile communication system.

SOLUTION: The uplink scheduling method of a BTS serves in a wireless mobile communication system in which a mobile station reports to the BTS a headroom value indicating the magnitude of currently used transmission power and additionally used transmission power. The uplink scheduling method of the BTS includes normalizing the headroom value according to a pre-set reference transmission format; determining a means data rate of the mobile station; and determining a priority of the mobile station considering the normalized headroom value and the mean data rate.
