PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a call setting method of a key telephone system whereby a phone call arrived in a user's own extension number reaches a terminal logged in by a user even when the user uses which seat of which lodgement without ringing a telephone set at a user's absent seat in the absence of the user. SOLUTION: To provide a call setting method of a key telephone system whereby a phone call arrived in a user's own extension number reaches a telephone terminal logged in by a user by collating information managed IP telephony server side with notification/assignment of number to telephone terminal even when the user uses which seat of which lodgement without ringing a telephone set at a user's absent seat in the absence of the user.
