PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless terminal device capable of properly capturing frequency bands according to situations. SOLUTION: The wireless terminal device selects one of a plurality of frequency bands for wireless communication with a base station. It comprises a capturing means for capturing frequency band, and a capture process changing means for changing, at a different ratio, execution frequency for the capturing process corresponding to the frequency bands according to a specified condition. The capture process changing means assumes the change ratio of execution frequency for at least one frequency band among a plurality of frequency bands as one, while assumes that for at least another frequency band as other than one.
