PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device capable of inhibiting variation of fuel injection quantity of each cylinder of an engine. SOLUTION: The fuel injection device 1 consists of a supply pump 4 generating high pressure fuel, a common rail 2 temporarily accumulating high pressure fuel supplied from the supply pump 4, an injector 3 injecting high pressure fuel supplied from the common rail into the cylinder of the engine, an operation condition detection means 20 detecting an operation condition of a vehicle, and a control means 5 determining command fuel injection quantity of the injector 3 and instantaneous peak speed of the cylinder of the engine based on an operation condition detected by the operation condition detection means 20, performing open and close control of the injector 3 based on command fuel injection quantity, and correcting valve close timing based on the instantaneous peak speed.
