PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rain shutter door device which can lock only one of rain shutter doors in a closed state, and both the rain shutter doors in a fully opened state, and can prevent toppling of the rain shutter doors. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the rain shutter door device, each rain shutter door 5 has a lower catcher 45 arranged at a lower edge thereof, and a sill 3b has a lower catcher receiver 46 arranged therein. Further the rain shutter door 5 has an upper catcher 40 arranged at an upper edge thereof, and a head 3a has an upper catcher receiver 41 arranged therein. When the rain shutter doors 5 are opened, the lower catcher 45 engages with the lower catcher receiver 46, and when the rain shutter doors 5 are closed, the upper catcher 40 engages with the upper catcher receiver 41, which leads to locking of only one of the rain shutter doors in the closed state. Further both the rain shutter doors can be locked in the fully opened state, and therefore the doors can be prevented from toppling. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
