PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact friction joint structure at low cost, while in the prior art shaft force of a bolt must be increased to obtain large friction force. SOLUTION: This friction joint structure 1 has beams 3a, 3b, and a joint plate 5f and a joint plate 5g are provided so as to nip the beams 3a, 3b. The joint plate 5f, the beams 3a, 3b, and the joint plate 5g are tightened by high strength bolts to join the beams 3a and 3b mutually by friction force generated by shaft force of the high strength bolts. Here, projecting parts 9g, 9i are provided on the joint plates 5f, 5g, and channel parts 11i, 11g, 13h, 13j are provided on faces in contact with the joint plates 5f, 5g of the beams 3a, 3b.
