PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal multi-spindle excavator for a diaphragm wall that prevents the occurrence of the remains of excavation between drums of the horizontal multi-spindle excavator. SOLUTION: The auxiliary drum 3, having a projection section 22 following a recess section 21, is provided to the inside of the main drum 2, the auxiliary drum 3 connects a fixed ring 32 to an oscillating ring 33 with a pin 4, the fixed ring 32 is connected to the main drum 2, and the oscillating ring 33 is capable of being oscillated at slight angles (1 to 5 degrees) with the pin 4 as the center. The upper-half part of cam plates 14 and 14, provided to both sides of the center section, is projected to the outside from the lower-half part. When the auxiliary drum 3 is rotated and enters a cam 34 into the upper half part side of the cam plates 14, the upper part of the oscillating ring 33 is pushed to the outside by the cam 34, the upper part is inclined to the outside with the pin 4 as the center, the lower part is inclined to the center side, excavation teeth 31 of the auxiliary drum 3 approach until a position that substantially mutually comes into contact in the lowest section, and the lower part of the central section of an excavation object is excavated completely.
