<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desulfurization adsorbent with superior desulfurization performance and regeneration characteristics, a desulfurizing method using the desulfurization adsorbent to remove sulfur compounds in fuel, a regenerating method for regenerating the desulfurization adsorbent having adsorbed the sulfur compounds, a desulfurizer including the desulfurization adsorbent, and a fuel cell system including the desulfurization adsorbent. <P>SOLUTION: The desulfurization adsorbent has a structure of a chemical formula 1, and the desulfurizing method uses the desulfurization adsorbent. The chemical formula 1 is (M<SB>1</SB>)<SB>a</SB>-(Si)<SB>x</SB>-(Ti)<SB>y</SB>-(M<SB>2</SB>)<SB>z</SB>-O, wherein, M<SB>1</SB>is one or more selected from an alkali metal, an alkali earth metal, hydrogen, ammonium, a rare earth metal, and a transition metal, 4≤x/y≤500, 0≤z/y≤3, 0</(y+z)≤1, and M<SB>2</SB>is Al, B or a trivalent metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
