<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic composition having a high dielectric constant at high temperature under high voltage, and having an excellent electrostatic capacitance change rate and an excellent high temperature load life, and to provide an electronic component such as a multilayer ceramic capacitor having increased reliability by the incorporation of the dielectric ceramic composition. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic composition comprises: the main component containing a dielectric oxide expressed by the general formula of ä(Ba<SB>x</SB>Ca<SB>y</SB>Sr<SB>z</SB>)O}<SB>m</SB>-(Zr<SB>1-t</SB>Ti<SB>t</SB>)O<SB>2</SB>, 0.8≤m≤1.3, 0.1≤x≤1.0, 0.0≤y≤0.5, x+y+z=1.0, 0.2<t≤0.45; a first auxiliary component comprising an oxide of Mn; a second auxiliary component comprising any oxide of Al, Ga and Ge; a third auxiliary component comprising a silicon oxide; and a fourth auxiliary component comprising an oxide of a rare earth element(s), and, regarding the ratio (molar%) of each component to the main component, 0.3≤the first auxiliary component≤0.7, 0<the second auxiliary component≤15, 0<the third auxiliary component≤20, and 0.2≤the fourth auxiliary component≤0.45 are satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
