<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance control responsiveness when vehicle behavior control is executed in a vehicle mounted with a transmission having the first shifting part and the second shifting part. <P>SOLUTION: This controller for the transmission mounted on the vehicle having a vehicle behavior controller for controlling a wheel speed, and for setting total gear ratio by respective gear ratios of the first shifting part and the second shifting part, is provided with a gear ratio control means (steps S3, S4) for changing at least one of the gear ratios of the respective shifting parts along a direction of restraining a change of a rotation speed of a power source, when the wheel speed is limited by the vehicle behavior controller. The responsiveness of the vehicle behavior controller is enhanced because no inertia torque resulting from the change of the rotation speed of the power source acts therein. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
