<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting inspection method and a lighting inspection device for liquid crystal panel capable of exactly discriminating a normal pixel from a defective pixel. <P>SOLUTION: Polarizing plates 12, 11 are respectively arranged opposite to the front surface and the back surface of a liquid crystal panel 10. A light color conversion plate 14 which converts a blue light ray among received light rays to a green light ray, emits the green light ray and, at the same time, transmits red light ray and green light ray is arranged opposite to the front surface of the polarizing plate 12 of the front surface side. In such a state, the liquid crystal panel 10 is illuminated from the back surface through the polarizing plate 11 while a source signal alternately switching between a voltage Vs(H) of positive polarity and a voltage Vs(L) of negative polarity at predetermined intervals is applied to each data line 4 and, at the same time, a gate signal having a pulse P rising up to a voltage Vg(H) of the level which turns a thin film transistor 5 on from a voltage Vg(L) of the level which turns the thin film transistor 5 off in each time zone when the voltage Vs(H) of positive polarity or the voltage Vs(L) of negative polarity on the source signal is applied to each scanning line 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
