PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle steering system capable of improving durability thereof while avoiding idle turning during the locking of a motor shaft. SOLUTION: This vehicular steering control system, in which an input shaft coupled to a steering wheel and an output shaft is coupled to a steering control wheel, including a variable steering angle section for changing transmission ratio therebetween in accordance with rotational driving force of a motor includes: a synchronization section for synchronizing the motor rotation, formed in the outer circumference, a driven member with an engaged section, formed along the entire inner circumference, a moving section for being movable in the direction of the motor shaft, arranged in the inner circumference, a lock member with an engaging section, formed along the entire outer circumference of which the diameter is approximately the same as the engaged section one, for being engaged with the engaged section and a displacement section for displacing an axial position of the lock member to either a position of being engaged with the engaged section or a position of being disengaged therefrom.
