<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably detect a finger touch position when a finger operates an edge of a small image display area, on an electronic apparatus having an input device for detecting capacitance changes. <P>SOLUTION: A first detection area 25 having X electrodes X1 to X4 and detection electrodes Sx1 to Sx4, and a second detection area 26 having Y electrodes Y1 to Y3 and detection electrodes Sy1 to Sy3 are disposed across an image display area 3 and an outer non-display area. Small instruction images are displayed in the edges of the image display area 3, and when the instruction images are touched, the first detection area 25 and second detection area 26 having a larger detection area can detect the finger touch position with high accuracy. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
