摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality with a simple configuration by arranging a misalignment detecting means in an appropriate position when detecting correcting color deviation in a full color image due to a scanning line curve, for example, by using the misalignment detecting means capable of detecting the misalignment in the scanning line so as to correct the color smear. SOLUTION: The arranged position of the color deviation detecting sensor 104 in the image forming device is expressed by 0.25¾T¾≤S≤0.75¾T¾, when T is the distance between each support member 102 and adjusting mechanism 100 and S is installed position for the color deviation detecting sensor 104. The installed position for the color deviation detecting sensor 104 is on a transfer belt 14 and separated from a reflecting mirror 72. For the installed position for the color deviation detecting sensor 104, the spreading of the optical beam by scanning is taken into account for the size at the reflecting mirror 72 and the size is adjusted according to a spreading ratio of the size (effective scanning width) in an effective scanning region. Furthermore, installation in same positions as a center adjusting mechanism 100C and a side adjusting mechanisms 100S is avoided for the position for the color deviation detecting sensor 104.
