PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate device where a COF-mounting component can be positioned accurately with respect to a substrate, and reliability of connection improves, and to provide a liquid crystal display device having the substrate device. SOLUTION: The substrate device is provided with the substrate 72, where input terminals 75 and a first positioning mark 84 are arranged; and a flexible printed circuit board 76, which has output leads 80 connected to the input terminals across an anisotropic conduction film and a second positioning mark 86, and on which an electronic component 77 is mounted. The first positioning mark has a first side, extending in the array pitch direction of the input terminal, and a second side extended in the extending direction of the input terminal; and it is arranged in a region outside the anisotropic conductive film. The second positioning mark has a first side, extending in the array pitch direction of the output lead, and a second side extending to the extending direction of the output lead, and is disposed in a region outside the anisotropic conductive film.
