PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote purchase and sale of capsules by a capsule vending machine. SOLUTION: This capsule vending machine is provided with a vending machine group consisting of a plurality of the capsule vending machines having a detection means detecting whether a capsule discharged at random from a plurality of capsules including a specific capsule is the specific one or not, and a notification means notifying detection of the specific capsule; and a control means connected to the detection means and the notification means of the respective capsule vending machines of the vending machine group. When the detection means of the capsule vending machine in purchase operation detects discharge of the specific capsule, the notification means of all of the other capsule vending machines are operated via the control means.
