PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for a polymer emulsion for coating, having low volatility, and to provide a polymer emulsion composition for coating, which is suppressed in the emission of VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) and thus is useful for a coating material, a pressure-sensitive adhesive, etc. SOLUTION: The additive for the polymer emulsion for coating is composed of an alkylene oxide adduct of glycerol.
