PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an escalator guard board being hardly broken and hardly scattered even if it is broken. SOLUTION: The escalator guard board 7 is constituted such that it is installed on an outer side of a handrail 5 of the escalator at a triangular part 6, i.e., a portion where two adjacent escalators 1 are crossed each other or a portion where the escalator 1 and a beam 4 of a building are crossed. In this case, the escalator guard board has a movable plate part 8 extending in a vertical direction so as to cover a part of the triangular part 6 and movably supported; a scattering prevention film 12 mounted to the movable plate part 8 so as to cover the movable plate part 8; and a reinforcement film 13 stuck near a central part of the movable plate part 8.
