PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshing apparatus in which rachis branch-removing performance is improved without causing phenomenon impairing grains, so-called husking. SOLUTION: In the threshing apparatus, a threshing chamber 66 in which a threshing cylinder 69 provided with a threshing tooth 69a for carrying out separation treatment of grains from grain culms is supported on a shaft and a second treating chamber 67 for internally installing a second treating cylinder 70 are installed, a guide plate 82 guiding conveyance of a material to be treated in the second treating cylinder 70 and having a conveying face parallel to the conveying direction is installed on the side of the second treating cylinder 70 and a plurality of holes smaller than diameter of second grains are installed in the guide plate 82. The guide plate 82 is preferably arranged under the second treating cylinder 70. Thereby, the material to be treated is pressed to the guide plate 82 and efficiency of removal of rachis branch is improved. The size of holes of the guide plate 82 is preferably formed so as to become relatively large on starting end side in the conveying direction and formed so as to become relatively small on the final end side in the conveying direction. Thereby, rachis branch can be separated by separating a hook-branch, etc., with a large hole and preventing increase of damaged grains with a small hole. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
